Frequently Asked Questions

  • How should I care for my bedding?

Visit our Care Page for information on how to care for your Parachute bedding items.

  • Are your materials safe and certified?

Absolutely. All of our bedding is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it’s been tested and proven free from harmful chemicals and synthetics. What touches your skin should only feel good.

  • Where is your bedding made?

Every piece is thoughtfully designed in Los Angeles and made with love by the best in the world - from expert Portuguese craftspeople to fourth-generation American mattress makers.

  • Is Parachute bedding sustainable?

Yes. Sustainability is woven into every step of our process—from responsibly sourced fibers and low-impact farming to ethical manufacturing and carbon-neutral shipping. We use preferred materials like organic cotton, European flax, and recycled fills, and partner only with vendors who meet our high environmental and labor standards. Our timeless designs are made to last, keeping textiles out of landfills and comfort in your home for years to come.

  • What is the thread count of your sheeting?

Thread count actually isn't the best way to measure the quality of your bedding – in fact, it's largely a marketing gimmick – which is why you won't find it listed in our product descriptions. To learn more about the thread count myth and the best way to determine the quality of your sheets, read our Blog story here‎.
